What this site collects, in plain language. Short, because there is not much to say.
The short version
- This site’s own code sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

- Email you send us is kept to reply and for our records, and deleted when you ask.
- We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.
Cookies and analytics
This site’s own code sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. If Cloudflare’s bot protection is switched on, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie; we will list it here.
The site has no analytics, no advertising tags and no tracking pixels, so there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask you about. If we add analytics later, or a Cloudflare cookie appears, this page will say so first and the effective date will change.
Third parties and video
Pages load no scripts, fonts, images or other files from other companies until you play a video. The preview image on each video is a file stored on this site, so showing it makes no request to YouTube.
When you press play, your browser loads YouTube’s player from youtube-nocookie.com, a YouTube domain, and YouTube’s terms and privacy policy apply to that request. We do not control what YouTube collects. Links to our channels, and each “Watch on YouTube” link, are plain links: YouTube hears from you only if you follow one.
Fonts
The two typefaces, Newsreader and Hanken Grotesk, are files on this site’s own server. Your browser does not ask Google Fonts or anyone else for them.
Hosting and server logs
Cloudflare hosts this site and also provides the email routing described below. Like any host, it handles basic request data, such as your IP address, the page you asked for, your browser’s user-agent and the time, in order to deliver pages and protect against abuse. The hosting dashboard may show aggregate request counts. We do not use any of this to follow or profile individual visitors, and Cloudflare’s own privacy policy governs what it keeps.
If you write to hello@grandblademedia.com, we receive your address and whatever you send. Cloudflare Email Routing receives mail to this address and forwards it to the mailbox we read. Cloudflare and the provider that holds the mailbox handle your message to deliver and store it.
We keep what you send to reply and for our records, and we delete it when you ask. The prefilled links on this site only open your own mail program; nothing is sent until you send it.
Sale and sharing
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for advertising. We do not build profiles of visitors. The only personal data we hold is what you choose to email us.
Do Not Track
Because the site does not track visitors, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals change nothing here. There is nothing to switch off.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA may give you the right to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to how we use it. You do not need to cite a law. Email the address below, say what you want, and a person will handle it.
Changes and contact
Grand Blade Media, run by Justin Gim Ho Cheung, is responsible for this site and for the email you send us. If this page changes, the effective date changes with it. It is effective . Questions about it go to hello@grandblademedia.com.
